Welcome to Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Waterford, MI! Our mission is to put God's love into action while bringing people together to build homes, communities and hope. We have served more than 150 families and 700 individuals since 1990. We base our services on the principal that all of God's people deserve a place to live and our community is a better place when that happens. Whenever any of our habitat families move from poverty into a home we have built, they report better in health, family stability and children doing better in school.

Our houses are sold to qualified homeowner partners without any profit with affordable mortgages. As part of the partnership, homeowners complete sweat-equity hours. They are able to re-pay their mortgages over a span of 20–25 years. With these payments, donations, grants and sales from our ReStore, we are able to create a revenue that supports construction of future homes for habitat partners.

More recently we have started offering home repairs. This allows us to serve even more families and communities. From re-painting to replacing a kitchen or insulating the home, we do it all. We are excited to see what the future holds!

Globally, we support the Nicaragua Habitat for Humanity and have partnered with them from the start. They have built more than 58 homes with our gifts alone.

At our ReStore, we are selling new and gently used building materials and home improvement products at discounted prices. Our store hours are only Tuesday through Saturday, however, donations are accepted Monday through Saturday.
