Prior to opening this franchise, Sara and Chuck had many successful businesses in the past 30 years, none have been as rewarding as Training Doggies. Graduates of Northern Illinois University (1986). Sara was a 3 year letter winner in women’s gymnastics and Chuck a 4 year letter winner in wrestling at NIU. After college both coached various sports teams for many years. This coaching experience (Sara coached women’s gymnastics at Downers South and Downers North for over 20 years and Chuck coached boys wrestling and soccer) combined with their genuine love for dogs, made it easy to convert this coaching experience to professional dog Training. Their three doggies Yoda, Marlee, and Chico certainly contributed to their decision to make working with dogs a career.
