About Us

St. Vincent de Paul has been supporting hurting residents of Wayne, Macomb, Lapeer, St. Clair, Monroe and Oakland Counties for more than 130 years. We provide food assistance, disaster relief and emergency support through charitable work to help those that are less fortunate in our area. Through our thrift stores, dental clinic and community outreach programs we directly assist more than 305,000 families each year. With the help of our staff, donors and volunteers, we work to eliminate poverty in the local area with actions that can make a difference long-term. Join us and donate or volunteer today!

History

We were first started in 1833 as a Catholic organization to help those in need. We see the face of Christ in those who are facing difficult times. We hold to our values of Holiness of Life, Service to the Poor, Humility, Charity and Community of Faith.
